Moving to San Diego was supposed to be a fresh start for Melanie. Three years of sun and sand and she would be heading to college. No matter how many miles she traveled away from her childhood home, the darkness of the nights still tormented her. His face came as if he was still there. His blood red eyes, kept her from moving forward. At night she faced her demon, during the day she faced the one thing she never though she would ever be worthy of, Josh! Josh was the eager young lacrosse player who wanted nothing more than to claim her heart as his. Their friendship blossomed. As quickly as it started, trauma ended it. There are some things in life that you cannot run away from. They always find you in the end. Will they find each other? Will Josh be able to save Melanie from her past, as well as herself?
