I’ve spent most of my adult life behind bars. Even when I was released, I was too dangerous to be out in the world, and I found myself back inside within weeks.
When I was given my freedom back for good, all I wanted was to build a relationship with my daughter, and nothing—or anyone—was going to stand in my way.
That is, until the Star Gazers need my help. My brother created the spawn of Satan, and when a young woman needed protection because of my own flesh and blood, it was only right that I step up and take control.

1. This woman does things to me that no other woman has ever come close to.
2. She is nearly the same age as my daughter, and she lives with my daughter’s best friend.
3. She’s a Star Gazer, and so is her overprotective brother.
4. She drives me to distraction. It’s so bad that I forget who I am and what I’m supposed to be doing.
