James Robinson is a talented detective in New York City. Life is good, until the bodies of four women are found ritualistically murdered near a sacrificial altar in the Bronx. His specialized unit thinks they are faced with the challenge of apprehending a serial killer. When they discover the existence of vampires and their involvement with the murders, they confront a world of supernatural beings, which shatters their lives.
